My hair is very thick, and wavy, and it can get hard to straighten sometimes.

can you guys give me some really good straighnening products that would make my hair straight, sleek, and shiny =]Hair Straightening Products?
well i used the pink ginali, its not really known but its similar to the chi.

and my hair always gets frizzy after it gets wet so i use a hair dryer, then i straighten my hair. then i just put some BioSilk on my hair it really smells good and it leaves your hair soft and silky.. well i recomend it, it works well, you can even add it to your hair right after you get out of the shower..

you can buy BioSilk in any regular store/ beauty store for only $10-20

it gets quite expensive the bigger it is. the small ones get finnished fast. the cost depends on the size of the bottle.

I have the same problem. I'm obsessed, my mom won't let me get my hair permanently straight, so I'm stuck with straightening products and straightening irons.

I use for shampoo/conditioner Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight, it helps alot. Also I use Biolage di-frizz, which keeps my hair not frizzy throughout the day. Also I use Biolage shine renewal, I don't know why but It helps alot with keeping my hair not frizzy.

Also try Got2be crazy sleek. You can use it with blow drying or straightt iron, whatever you prefer.

And for a good straigh iron, use a Revlon iron, they last forever, I've had mine for a year now and it still acts like new. Plus it has a dial mode so you control the heat temp.

All of that stuff is at CVS Pharmacy or Walgreen's, Walmart, ext...

Good luck!

i have the same problem...

i use the pantene pro v. extra straight shampoo, conditioner, and the comb in cream. so it helps me out a lot, lol.
Tresseme works really well.
try chi products..they really helped my hair.

Try a deep moisturizing treatment to control frizziness, such as Biolage Deep Moisturizing Conditioning Balm. This will weigh down your hair and help control any wave. Then to help straighten your hair, try the Matrix Sleek Look Smoothing System line of products (see source link below). Hope this helps!Hair straightening products?

    Hair straightening products????!!??!!?

my hair is naturally pretty curly (not tight curls, though, bigger ones) and it's also really really thick and kinda fizzy-ish. anyways, i straighten my hair cuz itz cut in a sorta scene-ish style (and looks really messed up when it's curly and all layered...and yeah....). ...but lately i haven't had time to straighten my hair before i go to school, so i was wondering if there are any hair products that have worked for you that straighten ur hair (without using a flat-iron) and de-frizz and de-volumize it (this doesnt have to be all in one, u can list a few different products that do different things. ....the more the merrier!). it can be shampoo, spray, mouse, wutever! as long as it works.

    k thnx for the help.

    %26lt;3 o.O %26lt;3Hair straightening products????!!??!!?
Have you tried Liquid Keratin? It lasts for about 6 weeks and is an alternative to chemical straightening in the salon. There are a lot of products on the market that straighten your hair but none work as good as real straightening or rebonding but you should not do that too often. Try brands like l' Oreal professional for sleek hair: shampoo and mask. Style your hair with Wella Sleek Wonder or John Frieda products to straighten and devoluminize your hair.Hair straightening products????!!??!!?
I use hair mousse, i have ringlets, and they sound kinda like yours but more curly.

Hair mousse is amazing, I go through about a bottle a week but its really cheap anyway... if you put it all through your hair and scrunch it and let it dry, it will look grrrrrreat.

I promise :) Give it a try, it only takes 5 minutes each morning and lasts the whole day. It also makes it less flat which I suppose is good for a ';scene'; hair style??

    :) !
take a shower and then use jogn friedas frizz ease products so not frizz then blow dry uside down for volume then shtraighten it(:

You should check out the solia over the sedu most of the people i know agree the solia works a lot better.

I've used so many products to tame the frizz, but also straighten. The best thing I can recommend is simply using a good gel with a lot of hold + a styling creme. I recommend the Bumble %26amp; Bumble products. The Bumble %26amp; Bumble Defrizz is lightweight (don't be fooled!; lightweight doesn't mean it won't hold), but your hair won't frizz, even in the most humid conditions. Another thing too- it's recommended to mix their styling creme with a gel for the ultimate hold. Try that.
I have the same kind of hair as you...long, thick, curly and frizzy. Yuck! I have tried basically everything there is out there product wise. My advice to you is to purchase a Chi straightener. It is worth the money. I promise! Read about them online before you buy one of course...I was a bit skeptical at first because of the price, but I am incredibly happy with it! Also, no matter what products I used my hair would not stay straight in humidity. The Chi does something to your hair to help it stay straight in rain or hot, humid weather. My favorite hair products is the Matrix sleek look line.
The Bed Head hair straightener. [there's a reason its 60 bucks]

and get some Herbal Essances straightening gel, it smells good and works well.

Oh, and you might also want to try the Herbal Essances None of Your Frizzness shampoo too.

  • Hair straightening Products..?

Ive been straightening my hair for a while, and I would just like to know what are the best products that help protect your hair from heat. I would also like to know what products help smooth your hair so you won't have flyaways and etc. Thanks a bunch guys!!Hair straightening Products..?
A great product to protect your hair from heat is Paul Mitchell's Styling Wax Spray. Spray just a mist on each section of hair right before using a straightening iron.

Another great product to protect from heat and breakage is Wella's Liquid Hair Restructurizer Leave-in Treament. It strengthens damaged hair with protein and helps protect hair from heat and harmful UV rays. Spray on wet hair after you get out of the shower and comb.

The best lightweight straightening products I recommend are:

    - Phytodefrisant Straightening Balm. Very light weight and only a dime size needed. Does not weigh hair down and leaves hair very straight with volume.

    - Also Jonathan Martin's Condition Weightless Smooth No Frizz Hydrating Balm. Adds shine, straightens and smoothes damaged cuticles.

Try to avoid applying any straightening products to your scalp or roots, that will make your hair heavy and make your scalp and roots appear oily.

    Good luck!Hair straightening Products..?
    i use toni n guy

    its the best

    makes my hair gorgeous

i also use henna treatment stuff on it, made by beauty therapy

get it from morrisons for 拢1.49

    my hairs the best!
Paul Mitchell ';Super Skinny Serum'; works wonders. It smooths your hair down to control flyaways and frizz, and acts as a fantastic heat protectant.
sunsilk is really good for fly away hair its a purple bottle of sunsilk its probably one of the best things you could use
baby shampoo helps I use it on my mustache so it doesn't get brittle from straightening it out with the dryer. Baby poo makes it softer
If I want my hair to be pin straight I use Frizz Ease by John Frieda Straight Answer and blow-dry my hair and before I flat iron I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum both work great and smooth out my hair and make it shiny. The serum smells so good too.

But when I want it to look more naturally straight I let my hair air dry then use the serum and flat iron it.

For those hairs that have a mind of their own and serum can't even get them to stay I use a very small amount(less then a pea like a grain of rice) Alberto Vo5 gel wax I get the hair that sticks straight up and bring them down. Its great because it doesn't make them stiff of flaky you can't even tell you have gel wax on and your hair stays soft and smooth you can still fun your fingers through it.

This is what works for me ;)
I have tried many a products as I have naturally tight curls. I recently found Redken Align to be the one that left my hair soft and smooth without many flyaways. Bumble and Bumble's Straight cream works really well also but is more expensive. I buy a finishing serum to smooth down flyaways when needed as well. You want to go get these at a professional hairsalon though, the cheap brnads from Walmart and such just aren't as high quality and don't work as well. Unfortunately- great products uaually come with a great pricetag. Good Luck and I hope it helps!!
frizz ease (John Frieda has a good one and Garnier smooth and sleek frizz serum is great too.)

Try tresseme heat protectant. it does a pretty good job.
I have really thick hair and it gets very frizzy.... I use oil sheen spray for african american people...it works great on caucasians... I spray it on my dry hair and then straighten. It looks glossy and is a good heat protectant. You can get it from any beauty supply store for about $3. Also I have been using new shampoo..Its called Hairapy...It works great. Get the blue bottle, its for frizzy hair... They also have a product for maintaining your hair.
biosilk silk therapy.. it smoothes and tames flyaways..it's also a thermal protector...follow the directions on the bottle...a little goes a long way...
theres a special spray i use. mells like hair spray but works well and the smell doesnt stay on ur hair if ur worried about dat. the only problen is i cant remember wot its called!! i think its frizz ease or somethin.

btw, u should never straighten ur hair without at least one of these products - high rated or not!!

    Best hair straightening product?

So I just got this awesome hair cut: tons of layers, styled straight but not flat, a little messy looking. It was great!!

The problem came in when I washed my hair for the first time and all the greatness ran away, leaving me with icky.

I have kinda wavy hair that tends to curl at the ends. Also, when I blow-dry, it gets really poofy... I'm just looking for something that will get my hair looking the way it did. Or at least close... I don't want a hair straightener - that takes too much time each day, and I'm not into the 6-month relaxer treatment things I've read about.

I've also tried the whole round brush/hair dryer thing, and it came out awful and incredibly poofy!

    Any suggestions???

I'm totally fine with blowdrying, I just don't want the poof and the curl on the ends...

Oh yeah, and I'm slightly on a budget. No $20 shampoos please lolBest hair straightening product?
GHD hair straightners....but i dont know if u have them in the USA...cos they are good for creating smooth ends.

Thise are the best, but really any cheap hair straighnter will do, just remember to spray your hair with protection spray first, which costs around 拢10 over here...so about $18?Best hair straightening product?
First when you blow-dry your hair you need a scare metal brush the metal will keep the heat so you don't need a flat iron. Second go get the Line matrix for smoothly the hair they have shaconditionerioner and cream to keep your hair staigth you need to get that stuff at a hair salon. good luck with your hair. dont forget that what I did and it worked I have the same tipe of hair of you
    Definitely the CHI

    It works soooo well

My hairstylist uses it on me when I get my hair cut

However, it can get pretty pricey

DONT by any hair straighteners that are $25 or under

they take forever to heat up and they make your hair staticy

    Hope this helps (:

Why dont you try the chi straightener, its faster and works better and leaves your hair looking great
    Chi and Corioliss =)

    Hair straightening product help!!?

I have thick frizzy, the MOST kinkiest hair. I have a curlmaster ceramic curling iron from Sally's ($60) that is 5 years old. I'm looking for a new straightener, and product that REALLY works on my hair. I have tried the whole set of John Freida and Garnier. I live in HOT and VERY HUMID weather!! I want to move most days because of the humidity. What works??? Please help, it's very frustrating when every day is a bad hair day. Thanks a lot!Hair straightening product help!!?
OK so a STRAIGHTENER might not be for you and since ur hair is already frizzy don't u dare burn it with hot products! My advice is first to use an anti frizz serum and a heat protecting serum they are not hard to find! then right as you get out of the shower take a round brush and blow dry ur hair with it it might take a while but trust me it is worth it! Then use any non steam using straightener to straighten it! Do not get one that goes ovr 350 degrees! IT WILL FRY UR HAIR OTHER WISE! and always use a hydrating and frizz preventing shampoo and conditioner! and its always ok to leave little conditioner at the ends of ur hair!Hair straightening product help!!?
u said u tried john freida, have you tried frizz ease? i have the same thing happen to me in the summer and this works great.

Paul Mitchel has a serum called Super Skinny that works great and costs less, Redken has their Silk product and Salon selectives has a knock off of it too...I hear that wal-mart even has one that works pretty good, have never used it because I can buy the Chi serum at Target and Walgreen's for less than the salon...Hair Straightening product?
uhh jhon fredia is your best bet i use redken smooth down heat glide

    $15.99 target
depending on how often you straighten it, you will need different sirums. i dont use any, i straighten my hair about 3-4 times a week and i have minimal split ends and no breakage, cheap hair sirums are a waste of money so you would be best to buy the propor brands or not buy any.

    hope it helps

    Hair straightening product question?

I need a new hair straightening product and heat protectant . During the school year , I straighten my hair frequently (with a chi straightener if that helps with anything) . I have loose waves , but a lot of layers haha . My hair is slightly dry/ damaged . What drugstore (aka inexpensive) products will work well (from experience ?)Hair straightening product question?
Ahh; this is my kind of question!

Ha ha I also straighten my hair, almost every day with a Chi also.

I have a few different heat protectants that I have bought %26amp; tried out.

I would recommend the Chi ';Silk Infusion,'; not the most inexpensive product out there. It does work %26amp; you only use a little at the time though. It can be found where ever Chi products are sold. Another product I really like is by the brand Cashmere, %26amp; it's the ';Fortifying Sealant,'; this can be found at Wal-Mart smart style shop (I think that's what it's called.) It's about 15 bucks, you spray it evenly through hair before straightening.

There is a product by Bio Silk called ';Silk Therapy'; it's not really a heat protecter but you rub in a few drops in wet or dry hair %26amp; it makes it soft, shiny, %26amp; gets rid of the frizzes.

    Good Luck!

    Sudu ionic ceramic professional straightener

Rated the Best Hair Straightener on the market and preferred by top hair stylists around the world, Sedu flat iron straightens, smoothes and tames frizzy or rebellious hair for long-lasting results. Sedu's patented ultra-smooth ceramic/tourmaline plates guarantee smooth straightening motion without pulling, snagging or breaking of hair.
Rusk makes a great product for straightening. It is in 3 strengths, depending how straight you want to go . It works almost as well as the old fashioned Revlon relaxers, but without the damage. I think it is a botanical product. Ask your hairdresser, I think only a pro can buy it - and should be the one doing it. Good luck!
I recomend Super Skinny Serum from Paul Mitchell.

I have thick, big, frizzy, wavy hair. This is my routine and its magical:

After showering, I mix the serum with Paul Mitchell Staight Works.

Blow dry (with Paul Mitchell express dry, but any dryer will do)

Make sure you comb/brush as you dry.

Flat iron and curl the ends under.

(If you were to invest in hair products, I would chose Paul Mitchell. Easy to find, all the straight works products are colored green)

The same thing happened to my Aunt Jenny who lives in Florida. Except the flood happened to her car when she was still living in Alabama. It was her Chevy s10 that gotten flooded. Amazingly enough her Ford Escort didn't get any damage to it at all in the flood. She had left it at my Uncle Franks bar the night before. Must have had too many drinks that night and had to get a ride home. She does tend to put them away. That's what probably killed her, drinking! I know that's what killed Uncle Frank, liver disease. Aunt Carol lost the bar after Uncle Franks death, but they still call it Franks Place. I guess because everyone loved Uncle Frank and to sort of honor his memory. I'm glad I was able to help you.

    Good LuckGood hair straightening products.?
I use John Freida Frizz Ease Straight Perfection. You put it on your hair when it's damp/wet, and blow dry it straight. I follow up with a flat iron. When you are straightening it, make sure to not angle the iron out or anything like that, keep it straight all the way down. Or flip it inwards to prevent it from flipping out. Your problem might be the weather and not your chi. Humidity can make hair a bit wavy once you've straightened it. Try John Freida's Weather Proof, it guards against rain/humidity, etc.
You should try Pantene Extra Straight Shampoo and Conditioner. I think it will actually help =) My friends have tried it and it really worked! =)

will you answer mine???Best hair straightening products?
I recently had this same problem, except my hair is thin and wavy, but I found this product which is pretty versatile for all hair types. It is called Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. What I do (which works great!) is after I wash my hair I towel dry it a little, brush it out and dry it a little with the hair dryer so is it just damp, then I apply the Paul Mitchell product on my hair (just follow the directions. for your hair maybe use 2-3 pumps, instead of one.) then I finish drying it with the hair dryer and then when it is all dry, I straighten it with my flat iron (I would suggest a chi or bedhead), then lastly after it is all straightened I put a tiny pump of the serum in my palms and rub them together, then I apply it at the ends of my hair to prevent any frizz. This works wonders!!! Good luck :)

Oh here is the link to that product...

I am a Hair Designer with curly hair. When I straighten thick, curly hair, I like to use Redken Extreme Anti-Snap which is a leave-in. Then, if I need to, I would use a silicone spray such as Rusk Shining. Try not to use heavy products that will weigh your hair down.
There's a lot of great products out there. My favorites are CHI and FreakControl because they leave your hair smooth and silky while protecting your hair from the heat.

b.y. (be yourself) made by Framesi...WIO Strait Balm. I use it on my hair and my customers' hair everyday when using a flat iron or a curling iron and it is without a doubt the best thermal protectant on the market. Framesi color and hair care products are the only ones I use and recommend. I have been a licensed cosmotelogist for more than 15 years and have tried most every professional product available. I don't bother with non-professional ones because even though they cost less, they do not work as well. Anything that will KEEP my hair staight throughout the day.Best hair straightening products?
I use bedhead dumb blonde conditioner. It has proteins and vitamins which are good for moisturizing hair, therefore keeping the frizzys at bay. Also, i use tresemme heat tamer when i straighten. I used to buy the salon stuff but realized this stuff works the same for alot less. Plus tresemme is professional products, so i dont worry about all the harsh chemicals alot of drugstore hair products have in them. Spray it on each strand before you straighten. I wouldnt use a gel as they tend to be too sticky, esp if you're straightening. I just recommend keeping your hair moisturized with a good conditioner which will fight the frizz, and using a heat protectant when straightening.Best hair straightening products?

for heat protection spray - tresemme heat tamer spray. it's like $3-4 dollars in drug/department stores.

shine products - Silk drops by FX also found in drug/department stores for $2-3

i got my hair cut from past my chest to up to my shoulders. i wanted it to grow back so i used Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo %26amp; conditioner and it grew back so fast. if you WANT to grow your hair out , even with heat protection spray , it won't stop damage it'll cause split end's and that results to not growing, and you will need your hair trimmed, but if you must use heat products here you go :

These are inexpensive hair products that I use that are fine on the hair.

    (I'm 12.)

-Herbal Essences Pin Straight Conditioner and Shampoo -Herbal Essences Pin Straight Mouse. (Use this one by by putting it in her hair after her bath or shower.)

-A simple flat-Iron (You don't need anything expensive. The most you'll have to spend will probably be around 30 dollars for an OK flat-iron. Make sure you put the TreSemme heat tamer in her hair before you straighten it though, or else she could end up with even frizzier hair.)

    -TreSemme Heat Tamer

-Finish off with Herbal essences Pin Straight Hair Spray. Just a little.

Hey everyone :) So I love to straighten my hair, but I want it to grow out too. But everytime I go to the salon they cut off more than I want them to because I get split ends. Do you know any really good non-frizzing straightening product that will help me? Links or names would be awesome!Hair straightening products?
Well, its not a straightening product, but it will help with the split ends.

It's Herbal Essences long term relationship. A shampoo and conditioner that is made to prevent split ends and allow you to grow your hair longer. There is also a leave-in split end protector mask which also helps against split ends, which i am currently using, and its working great!

using this would most probably mean less trips to the hairdresser, and therefore no need to regrow your trimmed hair.Hair straightening products?
Non frizzing straightening isn't the exact thing you need. You need a heat protecting spray/serum. I rely on serums more than spray because I feel like it's more protecting. The CHI silk infusion is good and so is the tresseme thingmabobber(lol sorry idk the name). Tresseme also has a straightening creme, i believe.

make sure that when you flat iron, that you use a thermal protectant before you flat iron and try an oil sheen after to allow your hair to be flexible, shiny, and healthy looking.
CHI has a great straightening spray that is good. Try something that is for antifrizz you should be fine with that
I use a leave in conditioner when my hair is damp you can use any it really helps with the frizz.

And when your hair is dry before you flat iron spray your whole hair in sections with

FX Special Effects Flat Iron Spray it is sold at Walgreen's only it comes in a purple spray bottle and it does a really great job.

It has heat memory so your style will stay and it also does a great job with the frizz and adds shine.

But I really like it because after I use it my hair feels really smooth and conditioned not dry at all.
ok i use garnier fructis smothing milk.

it works wonders on my hair!

it straightens my hair and it helps with frizz
if the weather is humid you may end up having this problem. Id try a better product than Dove they tend to be cheap for lack of better word. Not that you have to spend a fortune on your hair but upgrade to a salon quality product. Make sure you Flat iron isnt burning your hair to friz. Have it blown out professionally and ask the stylst how you can achieve this look your self at home. Good Luck hope this helps.

You could always get a Relaxer type perm. They have some that they sell at Target like Dark %26amp; Lovely or Just For Me but w/o knowing the type of hair that you have (fine, coarse, etc....) its kind of hard to suggest something....

If you don't want to go to a Beauty Salon look to see if there's a Sally's Beauty Supply store (or some other professional supply store like it) and talk to the clerks in there about a good relaxer or other options for straightening your hair.

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1072486%26amp;classificationid=1049877

Used this about 3 times, but beware, if you're hair is pretty much damaged already you might not want to use it. But despite how damaged my hair is I use it anyway because conditioner and a cut a few days or so afterwards sorts it out. Two boxes are needed for thick, long hair though. What is a good at-home hair straightening product?
Don't YOU put chemicals in your hair if you haven't done so before. Although i know women who do there own perms so it's not impossible. I don't know what type of hair you have, but i suggest infusion, micro braids, or a sew in weave. But since your gonna be on vacation, what if you wanna go swimming? Just save the money and have if professionally done.
There isn't one you can buy at a store that won't damage your hair. You should try calling a local beauty college. They might do it for half the price or less than a regular salon.
idk if that exists...umm...but i'd like to find out

Hi guys, can anyone suggest a hair straightening product that really works?

I really want to change my look. My hair are curley and all over the place and I am fed of them. Can any one suggest a hair straightening product that really works.Hi guys, can anyone suggest a hair straightening product that really works?
get a straitener! they work.Hi guys, can anyone suggest a hair straightening product that really works?
EASY STRAIGHT. It is $30, and you can get it from CVS.com. It leaves your hair straight for 3 months!

Have a friend do it for you, that way it will cover all the spots of your hair..

My hair looked straight for months, and I washed it everyday. Good Luck. Trust me, this product really worked, and I have really curly hair too.
Try Thermasilk. It activates with the blowdryer. Blowdry it first then use a flat straighting iron. It will take a time to do it but you will love the results.
The best hair straitening product that you can buy is the con-air gold plated hair straightener, i bought it about 6 months ago and it's great. I have really fine hair and lots of it unfortunately, anyways It completely straightens my hair. It has temperature control settings so you can change the heat.

and let me also mention that i have a spiral perm and it didn't mess it up at all, and it also comes with a warranty.

you can buy it at k-mart or wal-mart.

    hi guy you can prefer ';GLAT';
Try the straightener from Boot's if u live in UK.It's very efficient.
i don't know of any products but i do know about a flat iron. It'll keep your hair straight for atleast 13 days.
MaxiGlide by Maxius... it worked so good on my hair.. the only thing, it made my hair break off, but I think it was because the steam thing messed up. but I loved it!! it runs about $89 but it works! i got mine from HSN.

Flat irons work great, but you need a styling aid that will help protect you hair from burning. When done flat ironing your hair spritz on a mist of hair spray to help hold the shape longer. Also it depends on you ethnicity, old neighbor lady told me that white females get perms to curl their hair while black females get perms to straighten their hair.
If u are looking for a temporary solution u can buy a hair iron. And for that I would suggest u buy either NAtional or Revlon hair irons.

If u r looking for a permanent solution then u can have ur hair re-bonded. It is permanent as long as ur new hair keeps growing. For that I suggest u use Wella. It is the absolute best and u had better get it done by a proffessional beautician
if you want it permanent, you should go to hair salon to have it done. I had it done and loved it, but it last only about 6-7 months depending on how often you shampoo your hair. For now, I use Hari Straigtener by Sedu - the best one so far. I have bought those cheap irons (Revlon, etc.), but none of them gave good result. I have very thick hair. This doesn't damage your hair, but it also helps if you use protection against heat on your hair first before you straighten your hair. Try it and you'll like it. Go to folica.com and they have reviews on different Hair Straighteners and they also have pictures of before and after. Good Luck.
CONAIR, well thats what you get in america...
    Dear Sam,

I wish I knew how it feel to have curly hair. But I am cursed with straight hair, oh well. Girl I have 6 words for you: Herbal Essence Dangerously Straight Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner!!!! This stuff really works! I used last month and loved it. Available at any drug store %26amp; of course Walmart. You gotta try it! Hope that helps.

    -Dev
I used Wella Straight, and now my hair is straight and great.
You should go get your hair professionally straightened, and try using a straightening iron if you don't want anything permanent.

I need a good hair straightening product?

Okay i need a hair straightening product that i can do at night time, go to sleep and in the morning, all i have to do is wash and comb it for it too look good

all of the hair straightening products i see require for you to wash your hair, use a flat iron, and the next time you get it wet, the effect is gone. so basicly take 2 hours in the morning to do that. i dont have that time. i need something i can do at nighttime and that will still last in the moring even if i wet it.I need a good hair straightening product?
i don't mean to discourage you but i personally haven't heard of any product that works like that. since it seems like you want your hair straight pretty often, i'd suggest getting it chemically straightened at a salon. i have really wavy hair and i hate it!! i got it chemically straightened and it's great. i can go to bed with wet hair and in the morning it's pin straight and super easy to style. mine was $300 but i know of people who got cheaper ones and still look just as good so ask around. but if you're set on finding the product your asking for, all i can say is good luck and i hope you find it!! =)I need a good hair straightening product?
There isnt really anything that you can use that'll last over night and work well. If you dont want to wash your hair in the morning and follow everything, try showering at night with the straightening shampoos/conditioners. then when you get up straighten it with a flat iron and use straight/finish/shine spray. If you really want straight hair use a pro.straight iron and keep your hair shorter it takes me 20 minutes when I follow those steps and I dont even use straightening shampoo. They are expensive but don't go for the chi it's more expensive then its worth =) good luck p.s if u get a new or a straightener then buy it at a hair salon or ask them (they know what to do)
i use straight and sexy heat spray that my hairdresser recomended because my hair is so thick. it makes flat ironing go so much faster- i used to get up at 530 to flat iron my hair because it took 2hrs now it takes 30 mins max.

ps. i updated to a chi too. (thank god for xmas)

i have also gotten into the habit that on days i do have to make an early start i straighten the night before, this spray wont make your hair greesy either and had a really strong hold- so it works.

or try getting your hair chemically straightened, because a shampoo cannot turn curly or wavy hair straight, trust me ive tried them all.

Does this hair straightening product work??

does anybody know if Beyond The Zone Bored Straight Hair Straightener will actually work on my thick frizzy biracial hair?Does this hair straightening product work??
Yes if you follow up with blow drying and a straightening iron. The product is meant to help the hair keep the style and keep from being damaged during the straightening process not straighten it on its own.Does this hair straightening product work??
i guess it depends on your hair type
Iv had my hair permanently straightened in a salon and I luvd the results, but it is damaging and a bit drying. I wouldnt have it done if your hair has been blonded, it will just frizz even more. Go to a good salon and ask them what they think.
Nup. Get the Paul Brown Hawaii Straightened it's $300 aus dollars but so worth it, it has smoothing technology in it and is gemstone infused which helps lock in moisture and add shine. also go to the hair dressers and gett a cut, tell them you want it thinned.
    not the ones i've used
thats the problem these days it says it but wil it work?

    Good hair straightening product?

I hate using a straightener every morning so I was wondering what chemical hair straightener things actually work. I have very thick wavy hair so what do you think would work like I don't want it to control frizz I want it to straighten my hair for like a couple of months.

    Thnx

    (=Good hair straightening product?
You could get a straight perm or straightener that is in the perm family. That way it's more gently and not absolutely permanent. If your hair is wavy and not overly curly, it should work well for you. Paul Brown's Hair at Rest is a good one. You'd have to get it done in a salon.Good hair straightening product?
ok idk the details but theres this japenese hair straightening system that straightens your hair for a very long time. Personaly, ive never used it,but my best friend has and it works. I have weird uneven waves too. Plus, my hair is VERY VERY thick, long, coarse, and frizzy. I use this straightener that is like italian called amika. its exspensive, but doesnt ruin your hair, you dont need product because it has mineral stone heating bars as a replacment of metal heating bars. But it's VERY expensive ($158) i got it at a mall
It would serve one best to ask how best to straighten hair since a product for straightening does nothing without knowing how best to style for straight hair. Product is an important step but not so much as styling when one wants hair to do a certain thing.

Any decent shampoo and conditioner will do well unless one has color-treated and/or chemically processed hair such as a permanent wave. Then, it is important to find a shampoo and condition that works best with processed hair. Reduce oil in oily hair by using a light conditioner. Find a enriching conditioner for dry hair. Maintain hair cuts every few weeks to keep split ends and damage at bay. It also helps if one uses warm water to wash hair and then use cold water to rinse it so it will seal the hair shaft, which reduces split ends and other damage to the hair shaft. Low quality hair care products for styling such as gel, mousse, pomade, and hair spay will require more frequent stripping with baking soda mixed with a bit of shampoo to remove build-up. Hair is healthier with higher quality products and usually is more cost efficient since you use less product too.

Straightening hair is a breeze with the right technique and the right tools. A series of Ion brushes, hair picks, and a hair-dryer with a cooling button on it is a great beginning. The Ion style curling rods are nice too. It is always best to have a small to medium barrel curling rod as well as a rather thick barrel rod based on the length of one's hair. If the hair is longer, go with a larger barrel whereas if hair is say shoulder length, then a slightly smaller barrel works.

Shampoo hair using warm water and rinsing thoroughly. Add conditioner for the appropriate time while massaging the scalp for a few minutes when possible to promote growth and condition scalp. Rinse hair using cold water to seal the shafts. Color treated hair does better when using a glazing product at least once every two weeks to once a month to increase shine and healthy glow.

Towel dry hair using gentle squeezing. It is better if one doesn't twist hair since it will damage the hair causing split ends. Use a wide-toothed pick to remove any knots. Comb hair down with the pick. Goody's has a wonderful variety of rubber-tipped picks that work best because it causes less stress to the scalp and hair follicles.

Apply an appropriate amount of mousse with hair flipped upside down with your head bent over allowing to pull hair from the back cortex region of the head forward. Apply mousse to both hands and then using fingers to put the mousse in the area closest to the roots. A great mousse for this is something like Paul Mitchell.

Flip hair back up again then use fingers to pull mousse through root area of the bangs and side hair. Be sure you can run fingers through the hair. Using a hair dryer with the cool cycle is great for straight hair when used in conjunction with a wide barrel curling iron.

Start using the hair dryer on the hair one section at a time using fingers and then gradually as it dries in segments, use a wide barrel brush, the Ion style brushes, to lift hair from the scalp down rolling the hair downward at an undercurl direction. Do so in sections going all around the head until the hair is only curling at the ends.

Using the cooling cycle on the dryer, lift and pull hair using the wide barrel brush in a downward under curl fashion taking each in sections again until hair is dry. Use a slight under curl twist at the ends using cool air until hair straightens completely. It takes a bit of maneuvering but in time it is quick and painless.

With practice and a bit of time, it is easy to achieve the full straight hair without having to resort to the straightening irons. These tend to leave these horrible little lines in the hair from the heat of the irons. A wide barrel roll brush and maybe even some touch up with a wide barrel curling rod allows one to pull hair down with each section of the roll brush or with each pull of a wide-barreled curling iron until results are like the picture below:

Straightened hair with curled bangs w/ bits of hair pulled toward the back where a decorative silver barrette holds it in place.

    http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf鈥?/a>

I do not use straightening products or irons. I use nothing more than what I mentioned above, a good shampoo, conditioner, and glaze with Paul Mitchell mousse and a light yet firm hold hair spray although the hairspray is more from holding my bangs in place than anything else. For the most part, I keep my hair straight these days so this is the way I do it every morning and before going out. I hope it helps.

wow. Your hair is just like mine.

I use frizz-ease straight answer. You just wash your hair...and then u spray it in as you blow dry it...It gets it pretty straight. Although u will have to do a little bit of straightening with a straightener.

For curls u can use a curling shampoo or curling gel. When I want my hair curly i just put curlers in before bed and they turn out nice.

  • What hair straightening product to achieve this hairstyle [picture attached]?

my hair is already straight, but the tips curl out. the hair in this picture has sharp tips and thats what i'm going far. do you know a product that can give sharp tips? likee bedhed. chi. etc.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v651/h鈥?/a>What hair straightening product to achieve this hairstyle [picture attached]?
First of all it's the haircut.

You should ask your haidresser to give you rasor cut tips.

    Then it's the straightening.

You need to straighten with a blow dryer and a brush.

No straightener can give you that look.

And last but not least, after you're done straightening you have to apply just a little bit of hair wax in your palms and press your tips with both hands ';pulling'; (slightly) down.

ANY hair wax will do if you have the haircut and straightening done.

Otherwise I don't think that there's a product in the whole world to do that.

Hope your hair will look gReaT!:-)What hair straightening product to achieve this hairstyle [picture attached]?
any type of light hairwax, but u should probaly go get your ends razor cut so they will just kinda fall like that.
its alot to do with the way its cut. the chic in the photo has had a razor cut, and that's how you achieve the sharp jagged look. i dont really think any products can give you that look.
Have you tried cutting it with sharp tips?
First of all , do you have that straight texture of hair like her? Asians typically have straight, coarse hair. Her hair probably air dries close to that. She probably does have it razor cut as well. When flat ironing your hair , pull the flat iron straight down rather than curving it under or out.
I have naturally wavy hair, so I wash it, and condition it, then put Wella color preserve hair wax in hair, Then blow dry/Straighten with a flat iron.{both products from hairdresser} And my hair looks awesome :)

    Hair straightening product question?

My hair gets sooooo dry when i straighten it. Im looking for products (conditioners, frizz ease, thermal protection, etc.) I could use to reduce damage, frizz, and my hair recurling and not staying straight. Please help, ten points!Hair straightening product question?
I suggest using Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum my hair used to be a pain in the butt to try and straighten and would curl and wave 10 minutes after i straightened it but after I started using the Skinny Serum my hair would straighten and hold and best of all there would be no of those annoying little frizzies. It also works awesome to control frizz without making the hair look oily.

Also consider investing in a really high quality straightner like a Chi, its definitely worth the money and you have a lifetime warranty so you'll never have to pay money for a new one!Hair straightening product question?
There are many products out there. I tend to get a deep therapy conditioner (in packets sometimes) and apply them to damp hair in a warm towel then leave on for as long as possible. Using a serum once your hair is styled is good, serums such as avon hair frizz control is good! If not that one, you can pick up serums at your local supermarket. Try to let your hair dry naturally as often as possible and don't use heat products everyday, maybe set a day aside to leave hair natural. The most important thing is to use heat protection sprays (tresemme) every time you use heat. And if you have split ends or extensive damage, have a trim regularly (4-6weeks).

    Hope this helps. x

make sure youre running the straightner through your hair SLOW!!!What hair straightening product works best for you? My hair just can't get tamed.?
Rather then putting your hair and your wallet through the ordeal of multiple chemicals and products respectively, just go to the hair dresser and explain the situation. She'll get your hair looking the way you want it and then you can buy the same products for at home use because you know they work on your hair. If your short on cash call up a head of time to see how much they're going to charge you for just a quick fix. Sounds to me you only want your hair straighten, I think? They shouldn't charge you that much....
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

    Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

73 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1275 total reviews.

    Sedu:

29 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3881 total reviews.

    That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

    Take a look at this.

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.
The only product I found that works really well is the Straight Sexy Hair products. Control Freak works too but you have to use SO much more of it than you so for SSH.
    i have that

and it doesnt work AT ALL.
