Hair straightening product question?

I need a new hair straightening product and heat protectant . During the school year , I straighten my hair frequently (with a chi straightener if that helps with anything) . I have loose waves , but a lot of layers haha . My hair is slightly dry/ damaged . What drugstore (aka inexpensive) products will work well (from experience ?)Hair straightening product question?
Ahh; this is my kind of question!

Ha ha I also straighten my hair, almost every day with a Chi also.

I have a few different heat protectants that I have bought %26amp; tried out.

I would recommend the Chi ';Silk Infusion,'; not the most inexpensive product out there. It does work %26amp; you only use a little at the time though. It can be found where ever Chi products are sold. Another product I really like is by the brand Cashmere, %26amp; it's the ';Fortifying Sealant,'; this can be found at Wal-Mart smart style shop (I think that's what it's called.) It's about 15 bucks, you spray it evenly through hair before straightening.

There is a product by Bio Silk called ';Silk Therapy'; it's not really a heat protecter but you rub in a few drops in wet or dry hair %26amp; it makes it soft, shiny, %26amp; gets rid of the frizzes.

Good Luck!
