Would this work for my hair? Straightening product?

I have curly hair naturally. I just got my hair cut realllly short. And I don't want to waste the money buying a straightener because the hair cut I have looks better straight. So I found this product and I was wondering if it would take out natural curls? Or just the curls from perms? Would it work to keep the hair straight for a while so I wouldn't have to straighten it every day? Or should I save money and buy a straightener and straighten it every night?

Unless your hair is REALLY curly like kinky curly I wouldnt use a chemical relaxer. I used one, my hair wasnt straight, I still had to use a flat iron and I fried my hair. I have had a short haircut for almost a year now and its still not very healthy. Someone told me once I would still have a to use a flat iron with a chemical straightener and they werent kidding. Dont do it.Would this work for my hair? Straightening product?
