i straightened 2 of my friends hairs using the system. 1 had coarse resistance hair which turns out very straight and shiny after i finish doing her hair. While the other one had about 4 inches of new growth and the ends was really damaged. The roots turned straight and shiny but the end was fried which required cutting. I am using Wella's extra strength so i was wondering next time I straigthen someone else hair if i can put something on the ends where it was damaged like a protein or can i dilute the formula with something so it would be less damaging. Or is there another product out there I can buy to use? If so please tell me where i can get the products.Need Info on Japanese Hair Straightening products. Please help?
if the ends are already straight you should not apply the product to them. it should only be applied on the new growth. try applying a barrier cream on the hair that is already straight to protect it from the product. also you need to think about adjusting the strength of the product and processing time based on the condition of the clients hair
